It’s important to know the several ways you can participate in the Primary Elections once they’re accepting votes. There’s a lot of different methods you can put in your vote and it can be overwhelming, so why not simplify it?

It’s important to note that the elections typically have a deadline for when you can register to vote. That’s why it’s important to do it as soon as you get the chance to! It’s better to be ready as soon as you can be.

Once you’re registered and all set to go, every California voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the Primary Election. This applies to all future elections as well, however this may be subject to change. Via these ballots, you’ll need to fill them out accordingly. Once you’re all done, there are several ways you can choose to send them off. You can either return them via mail, a drop-off spot, or an elections office located in your county.

It should also be noted that some places have Vote Centers which allow for early in-person voting. This is based on counties who follow the Voter’s Choice Act. It’s important to note that vote-by-mail ballots all have a deadline for arrival, so be sure to send yours off as soon as it’s done in order to ensure that your vote counts.

And that’s it! It’s really easy to vote once you’re all registered and signed up. Be sure to exercise your freedom of voting this year!
